Together for Hope Appalachia is launching a new fundraising campaign, “Friends of TFH Appalachia” (https://tfhope.org/appalachia-friend/) beginning with Giving Tuesday, November 29.
With an annual gift of $120 (or more) or a recurring monthly gift of $10 (or more) donors can become a “Friend of TFH Appalachia” and receive a beautiful appreciation gift created by an Appalachian artisan–a ceramic bead oil lamp or a ceramic candle holder and beeswax candle. The bead oil lamps were created by Sarah Culbreth with Tater Knob Pottery (http://www.taterknob.com/index.php) in Berea, Kentucky. The candle holders were created by Kirk Banks with the Appalachian Artisan Center (https://www.artisancenter.net/) in Hindman, Kentucky. The beeswax candles were created by Jason Hughes with the Johnson County Center for the Arts (https://www.jocoartcenter.org/) in Mountain City, Tennessee.
Gifts to TFH Appalachia help support the work of transforming rural Appalachia in the 63 counties of persistent poverty:
