Together for Hope had a major presence at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF), General Assembly this year in Dallas, Texas, leading workshops, podcasts, and hosting a large, “Together for Hope 20th Anniversary Celebration Dinner.”

At the dinner, TFH national president, Jason Coker shared the bold vision of Together for Hope, TFH partners shared their impact stories, and each of the regional vice presidents shared a report.

Rising Hope Documentary: Rising Hope
Rising Hope, a four episode documentary on the work of Together for Hope addressing rural poverty in the Delta and Black Belt regions, was screened by a wide audience.

Workshop Leadership
Together for Hope Staff led Three Workshops: Transforming Rural America Through Church Engagement: The Together for Hope Model, Jason Coker; Save Our Schools: How Individuals and Churches Can Advocate for Public Education, Rachel Gunter Shapard; The Ties That Bind: Joining Community and Church Engagement, Angela Carson and L. Nicole Stringfellow.

FBC Corbin’s White Flag Ministry Receives Award
TFH Appalachia was proud to see one if its coalition members, First Baptist Church Corbin, Kentucky’s, White Flag Ministry along with CBF Field Personnel Scarlette Jasper receive the Excellence in Missions Award presented by CBF.
