Chief Development Officer

Job Description

Position Objective: The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a key executive leadership position reporting directly to the President. The CDO is responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all fundraising, communications, and community relations activities to expand TFH’s impact and organizational growth.

Professional Qualifications: 

  1. A demonstrated passion for TFH’s mission and fundraising, with a deep understanding of and commitment to the values and principles of the nonprofit sector.
  2. Proven experience leading grant writing programs and securing funding from a variety of sources, including Foundation, State, and Federal Grants, with a track record of achieving fundraising goals. Capital campaign experience is a plus.
  3. Proven track record of collaboration and an unwavering commitment and accountability to leadership, the team, peers, and the organization.
  4. High level of integrity with demonstrated ability to exercise tact and good judgement.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment to meet goals in a timely manner.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with prior experience in public speaking and external relations, and the ability to represent the organization to a variety of stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and partner organizations.

Delta Region

Together for Hope Delta Director of Programs & Partnerships

Job Description

Position Objective: The responsibilities of the Director of Programs and Partnerships for Together for Hope’s Delta Region are to assist with day-to-day organizational functions and tasks; assist with the recruitment and management of the churches, towns, nonprofits, and other partners in Together for Hope Delta’s Rural Development Coalition; assist with the creation and management of all Together for Hope Delta programs; assist in creating and managing strategic partnerships in states and across the region; assist with grant applications, management and reporting; and manage office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit management or community organizing. The salary will ultimately be negotiated along with a package that includes: Healthcare, Retirement, PTO and Business Travel. We are essentially looking for the best candidates and welcome all applicants that can help grow our coalition and the good work in the Delta Region.
