Ways to Give
Give Through Your Employer
Many employers match their employees’ charitable gifts, and some match gifts from retirees and spouses too. A matching gift can double your support for Together For Hope, or more, at no extra cost to you.
Ways your workplace can help
- Matching gifts. Your employer matches some or all of your personal gift to TFH.
- Payroll giving. You give a set amount from each paycheck through your workplace giving program.
- Volunteer grants. Some employers grant money to organizations where their employees volunteer.
How to request a match
- Make your gift to Together For Hope online, by check, or another way that works for you.
- Check with your HR department or workplace giving portal to see whether your employer offers matching gifts and what the rules are.
- Submit a match request using our information: Together For Hope, EIN 87-0835491, 2906 North State Street, Suite 300, Jackson, MS 39216.
- Let us know you’ve requested a match by emailing natalie@tfhope.org. If your employer asks us to confirm your gift, we’ll take care of it.
Good to know
- Most employers set a deadline for match requests, often the end of the year or early the following year. Please check your company’s timeline.
- Matching gifts come from your employer, so they aren’t tax-deductible for you. Your own gift is.
