Coalition Members

Why Join the Together For Hope Rural Development Coalition

The Together For Hope Rural Development Coalition gives grassroots organizations working in areas of persistent rural poverty access to grant opportunities, training, and a national network of peers that would be hard to reach on your own. Membership starts at $10 a month, and we don’t turn away any organization because of cost.

What membership provides

Convene: A member rate for the Annual Meeting, with registration and travel assistance; an annual regional gathering; regular regional calls; and your region’s online member group.

Connect: A national and regional network for sharing what works; connections to national partners, funding opportunities, and grant notices; regional and national advocacy networks; and recognition on TFH’s website and digital media.

Consult: Direct support from your Regional Vice President and national staff; asset mapping on request; trainings for staff, boards, and volunteers, including ABCD; and support for nonprofit leadership needs, like AI training.

Create: Eligibility to apply for grants with TFH; collaborative projects such as Together We Build; and TFH’s annual impact and financial reporting.

Our commitments to you

Your stories belong to you. We ask permission before sharing your photos, stories, or names, and we credit your organization when we do.

Your information stays protected. We use what you share only for coalition work and never sell it or share it outside TFH without your permission.

We raise funds alongside you. We tell you before describing your work to a funder, and we don’t approach your local funders without your agreement.

You can leave at any time. Either TFH or your organization can end the MOU with notice.

We welcome all. We do not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability. We serve people of all faiths and none, and we never use our work together to proselytize.

What we ask of members

Membership is a two-way relationship. Members use an asset-based approach in their community work (TFH offers ABCD training for those new to it), take part in TFH trainings when they can, attend the Annual Meeting when possible, support other members in their region, display the TFH logo on their website or digital media, share coalition news through their own channels, and make an annual contribution scaled to their budget.
